As the designated Mac Person within my social circles, I tend to come into extra machines without exerting too much effort towards it. Usually I'm quite happy to repair these and either repurpose them or send them on down the road of life, but as I'm moving cities soon, I need to downsize and sell off these unrealized projects, plus an unscathed unit that I've since replaced.
First is my former main, a 15" unibody MacBook Pro, mid-2010. 2.66 GHz i7, built-to-order with a hi-res (1680x1050) antiglare (matte) display. RAM and hard drive are both stock at 4 GB and 500 GB respectively. Unit is completely pristine, though there's a ding on the box itself. Comes with original box, power cord, and all CDs and documentation. $1900 OBO Second is an older MacBook Pro that saw more than a bit of wear-and- tear at the hands of a relative (who will remain anonymous for his protection). Long story short: it got dropped. There are dents at the case corners and a few impressions elsewhere on the case. I replaced the hard drive with an SSD to get it running (and hopefully address future impacts), but something else happened, and now the top half of the screen is totally unusable. (See here: http://i.imgur.com/4tGmr.jpg) It would work great as a headless unit, or maybe you'd just like to use it for parts. 2.5 GHz C2D, 4 GB RAM, matte (broken) display, 80 GB Intel SSD. No power cord, box, or CDs (unless they turn up), so no OS preinstalled. $600 OBO Third is a project 12" PowerBook G4 that became superseded at the hands of my MacBook Air. The speakers are a little messed-up, so sound isn't so great (maybe it was always that way?). The trackpad's upper right corner is also lifting a little, although it still works. 1.33 GHz G4, maxed-out 1.25 GB RAM, 60 GB HD, SuperDrive. Comes with original box, power cord, display connector, and original CDs. $150 OBO Last for now is a 14" iBook G4 that was just forked over by a friend. It's in somewhat rough shape--a lot of the keys are wiped blank, it's a little scuffed, there's a melt mark at the corner of one key, and it could probably do with a full disassembly and cleaning. Still, it works. 1.33 GHz G4, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HD, combo drive. Comes with third-party power cord, and I'll include a Tiger retail box (same OS it's running currently). No box. $100 OBO I vastly, vastly prefer PayPal for payment and insured Priority Mail for shipping. Please understand before contacting me that things are a little hectic right now (moving!), but I'll do my best to get your items shipped as quickly as possible!
