I am looking to find a new home for this B&W (blue & white) "Yosemite"
PowerMac G3. I believe it is a 300 MHz chip with a Rev. 1 motherboard.
I do not have its Mac OS disks, which I believe takes a minimum of 8.6
or possibly 8.5.1. I installed the PowerPC Debian Linux, version 6.0.3
(squeeze). The computer has a 10 GB HD (a Quantum Fireball CX with
Apple logo, ATA-66), with 5.7 available after the Linux OS install, but
of course you could wipe it and install your own system of choice.
Original CD-ROM drive. All four RAM slots are populated, with 448 MB
total. For some reason it has a 3D Rage II+DVD video card (PCI), with
VGA and Apple (15-pin) connectors. No keyboard or mouse included; but
remember that this machine has one ADB as well as USB ports built in.
I'm asking for $75 plus shipping (UPS Ground) or make me an offer. The
computer weighs nearly 30 lbs, plus there would be added weight for
packing material. Pickup from my office would be fine, to avoid
shipping cost, if you're in the Twin Cities.
