Owned and meticulously maintained/upgraded since new by an Apple employed and certified Macintosh technician, this G4 Cube system is complete and 100% functional.
Purchased new in 2001 with the following specs: 450MHz G4, ATI Rage 128 graphics, 20GB HD and 128MB RAM running OS 9.1. The unit now sports a Dual 500MHz G4 (Snakebite processor from a Dual Gigabit G4), a cooling fan (connected to 5 volt lead for low RPMs & noise, mounted WITHOUT any chassis modification to the built- in but unused by Apple, 80mm fan mount), ATI Radeon 7500 graphics (32MB), 200GB 7200 RPM Seagate HD (system recognizes 128GB) and 1.5GB RAM. With the added horsepower the system can run Leopard OS 10.5.8 perfectly (this was my configuration) so surfing the web and syncing your latest iOS devices with iTunes 10.5.x on the coolest Powermac ever can be a reality. Please understand the Leopard installer doesn't easily allow installation on sub 867Mhz machines but resources online can show the way. This system will ship with HD reformatted or original system OS 9.1 installed, buyers choice. System includes all original accessories: original box/packaging, software, pro keyboard and mouse, special VGA adapter, speakers, power supply and cord plus 15" studio display (also with original box and packing). This cube system in excellent condition and has performed flawlessly from new with no component failures of any kind. Passes all AHT and Apple Service Diagnostic testing. All upgrades were done in the interest of performance enhancement, again by myself, an Apple certified Macintosh technician. $750.00 + shipping If interested please contact: Mike Neuhaus Bordentown, NJ 08505 732-890-4393 or [email protected] -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
