I moved a few hard drives to NAS or RAID enclosures, installed them in various older machines or the drives just died. Now I have a few good enclosures for sale. Three are for 3.5" IDE/ATA drives, three are for 3.5 SATA drives and one is for a 2.5 SATA drive. They were used for music, video and digital paintings storage and duplicate back-ups.
ATA: $15 each all three for $35 These enclosures held drives from 250GB to 750GB. and are about two years old. The Mad Dog has two Firewire and one USB port and a plastic base so you can use it standing up or flat. Nice bright Blue light in front. The SimpleTech Simpledrive has one USB and Firewire port plus two plastic feet/stands that allow you to use standing up or flat The ADS has one USB port. SATA: New still in box, Spyker 2.5" (laptop sized drives) hard drive enclosure for SATA drives. About 5.1 x 1 x 7 inches. Bought this to transfer my MacBook drive into when I upgraded. I wound up giving the drive to a friend after his died. Glossy black top, shiny chrome look bottom (looks like an iphone or iPod touch). Includes enclosure, 2 screws (1 plus an extra), small phillips head screwdriver, and a USB "Y" cable. Supposed to have a bright blue LED power light up front as well. - $10 These SATA enclosures held 2TB drives and are less than a year old. Iomega eGo enclosures Black metal and plastic USB. I have two of these. These have screws and double sided tape. I can send pics. - $12.50 ea. both for $20 Rockectfish USB and eSata ports on back and 2 USB ports on front and 2 memory card slots for SD, MMC, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro, xD, Compact Flash I/II and MicroDrive. Comes with Black and Silver side covers. One touch back-up only works with Windows. May still even have the box. - $25 I also have a Maxtor Firewire only ice and smoke colored enclosure, I do not know if it is working, the drive died long ago it was just sitting in a box, free to whomever wants it, just pay shipping. All enclosures were working great (except the MAXTOR), and cosmetically are very nice condition. They will come with the appropriate cable(s) and power cords/adapters. NO HARD DRIVES.
