$175 + Shipping. As much as I hate selling this, I have no choice. Someone in my neighborhood thought it would be hilarious to report my Volvo as a non-running vehicle to the city. Therefore I need to get it fixed in a hurry (14 days). So, I have to sell my PowerBook to fund the $200+ in needed repairs.
Specs - 1.67GHz 7447a G4 2GB DDR2 RAM Newer 320GB Western Digital 5400RPM HD (Manufacture Date 9-2011) Dual Layer Superdrive 15" HR Screen 128MB Radeon 9700 Built in AirPort and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Battery lasts about 1-1.5 hours if I'm not mistaken. Condition - Not too bad.It has dents and scratches. The 2 worst dents are one on the front corner by the optical drive, and one on the back by the power jack. There are scratches on the top on bottom. Computer has also been pulled apart and cleaned and has new Arctic Silver 5 on the CPU and GPU. I also installed a copper shim between the GPU and the heatsink to keep it cooler, because there is a manufacturing flaw.... a large airgap between the 2. This issue was discovered on another model, as well as one I did the same repair on. This computer does NOT have GPU issues whatsoever. I am looking to get $175 plus shipping. I assume it will be around $14 to ship it. PowerBook will come with an aftermarket OWC AC Adapter, and will be wiped for you to install Leopard or whatever linux you prefer. Pictures are available on request. Thanks! William Goins Amherst, Ohio 44001 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
