Hello again swappers!

For sale is an obscure but really neat VTBook Cardbus graphics card.
You can still buy the product from VillageTronic, so while not
extremely rare, they are not exactly easy to find used but are
available from time to time on eBay. This allows you to drive an
extra external display from virtually any laptop computer with a
Cardbus connection (and up to 2 extra displays on a Windows laptop
with a special dual display cable). The card contains 32 MB of VRAM
and does provide 3D acceleration in OS X, but does not do so in OS 9
and does not provide Quartz Extreme acceleration. In summary, while
not good for gaming it will let you run a desktop spanning 3 displays
(1 primary external, internal, and secondary external via VTBook).
Here's the web page for the product from VillageTronic:

http://www.villagetronic.com/vtbook/index.html

They are going for $149 brand new and between $15 and $80 on eBay
depending on how "complete" the package is. I have the full external
and internal retail packaging with the DVI to VGA adapter. The VT
Voila preference pane to manage your displays is available for
download direct from VillageTronic for Mac OS X. This is a great card
for the WallStreet, Lombard, Pismo.

I am asking $55 shipped for my unit from area code 43147 to CONUS and
pictures are available upon request. This will be listed elsewhere,
but the first swapper to make an offer before the end of the week gets
first dibs. PayPal only please. Thanks for looking!
