To all, My dear old Gig-E finally died this morning so I pulled the following:
• Giga Designs G4 CPU. Model GC5-1250-S2. Works in AGP G4s through Quicksilvers. Geekbenched at a blazing 610 (25% faster than the dual 500 CPU it originally had). Set up for a 100MHz bus but has jumpers to adjust to 133MHz bus. Showed up as a 1.2GHz G4 with a 2MB L3 cache. It can be overclocked but I don't have any documentation showing how to adjust the jumpers. Asking $35.00 shipped CONUS. • 4x256MB 133MHz RAM sticks (1GB total) • 4-port USB 2 card • AGP 32MB video card with ADC and DVI connectors $45 shipped gets you all of it.
