So be sure to check which drive your Mac uses. These also work very nicely in USB external enclosures. I do have two of these at the moment, one in normal condition for the $20, but another that has a dent/ding in the top cover where it was hit by another PCB (probably a corner of the assembly hit it) which made a significant ding. However this drive tests out as fully functioning, so the ding does not seemed to have damaged anything exept the case. I am selling this one for $12 shipped.
