Up for grabs is a 17" G4 Powerbook 1.67 GHz. This is the A1139 model with the
high resolution screen and the faster RAM. It is a beautiful machine. Very
minor light scratches on top and bottom case. Inside looks like it has never
been used. There are no scratches or on the screen. The battery appears to
hold a good charge.

The bad new is that it does not run. If cold it starts to a nice clean screen
and then freezes. I formatted and checked the hard drive (a 120GB) in another
system and it is fine. The optical drive is toast. I left a 512MB of RAM in the
system. It does not come with a charger. My best guess is the motherboard is
dying or dead, but you may have some magic I do not.

This could be a rewarding challenge and a very nice project machine. I am
asking $100 shipped from Saint Peter, MN 56082. I accept PayPal.

I would be open to trades or partial trades. I am looking for a decent set of
computer speakers. I need a couple 1GB PC2700 SODIMMs. I can always use a
couple 4-8GB SD cards. I am also not adverse to buying a motherboard for the
powerbook, so if you have one you to sell let me know.

Thanks for looking and have a good weekend.
