This set may be installable only on G4 iMacs, possibly on a specific model. I'm not sure because I bought them to be part of a service inventory and never used them except to test one CD on a 9600 and a G3 desktop.
These would ideally be used to replace a damaged set for an iMac G4. I'm asking $40 including shipping USPS from Evans, Georgia, USA to Continental US (CONUS). I won't ship these out of the United States. USPS postal money order only, Please. (It's just faster.) The date on the CDs is 2002. There are two (2) 10.2 install CDs and there are five (5) OS restore CDs. The OS restore CDs contain OS 9.2.2 There is a hardware test CD. There is also a World Book version 6.0.2 CD. There are 9 CDs in all. The part numbers I gathered are 602-1710-A iMac Media - on the media folder CD Version 1.0 2Z691-4024-A on Disc 1 of Mac OS 10.2 CD Version 1.0 2Z691-4025-A on Disc 2 (applications disc) CD Version 1.0 691-3997-A thru 691-4000-A (restore discs) CD Version 1.0 691-4054-A (restore disc) Software version 1.2.2m 691-4023-A (hardware test) This is a Mac OS X 10.2 original CD set for an iMac. I'm not sure which iMac but may be for a G4/800 flat screen iMac sold specifically for Mac OS X. I'm also not sure if the CD set is complete since there is separate CD for office or entertainment software. (It may be an academic set.) Because they are not iMacs, this set would not install on my G3 desktop nor would it install 9.2.2 on my 9600 (both are now sold), although I did not try any hacking tricks. I've had these CDs for years stored in the house with my developer CDs, in their box. The CD envelopes and folder are intact and in very good condition. The CDs look like brand new although I can't guarantee the data -- optical media is subject to decay over a period of years according to some reports -- but I'm confident of their integrity. These aren't the pretty colored retail CDs. They are the iMac specific CDs and are gray with white printing except for the hardware test CD (chrome/black) and the World Book CD (colored design). --------- Jon Kettenhofen Evans, GA 30809 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
