Looking for a slim 12.5mm height drive to replace the dead optical in an early 2008 iMac aluminum.
Would prefer to swap; if I have to buy one, eBay is out there. Current drive is a DVR-K06 - i believe it's a Pioneer 8x DL. Looks like Apple part #s for this are 661-3852, 661-4025, 661-4385, 661-4391 If you have one removed from a dead unit, or pulled to replace with a caddy & 2nd hard drive (which I'm also considering), let's talk.
