Hi....this is a pretty sophisticated upgrade card. It has a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket. It works with the 7300-9600 series Macs and with the ZIF aspect, allows either G3 or G4 CPU chips to be utilized. It also has a *DIP* switch box for fine tuning your processor speed.
