I purchased this MacBook Pro in July of 2012. Earlier this week I purchased a Late-2011 17" MacBook Pro for my mother, but then fell in love with the larger screen size and resolution and decided to keep it for myself. Thus, I won't be needing my 15" MBP anymore and it needs a new home!
This is the stock $2199 model that was discontinued a couple of weeks ago with the 100MHz CPU speed bump refresh that took place. The current equivalent 2.7GHz model can no longer be purchased in stores, but is a built-to-order option online only. I'm asking for $750 less that retail, including the ~$150 tax that I originally paid. The machine is functionally and cosmetically flawless, and has a fresh installation of OS X Mountain Lion v10.8. Your first boot will be to the Setup Assistant as if you'd just bought the computer from Apple. Included in the sale are the original box, micro fiber cloth and AC adapter.
