Two flaws put this one on my project pile, where it has resided for too long - 1) the CD-ROM (only) drive does not work. It accepts disks, thinks about it for a while, and spits them out. Use of a pretty good disk-cleaing system did not produce the desired resuls; 2) An Airport WiFi card is not recognized by this iBook (I tried three), and does not show up in the system profiler. Otherwise, this iBook is is extremely good working and looking condition, everything else works, as confirmed by a hard drive wipe, disk veerification and OS reinstall via Firewire in arget disk mode. The battery takes a strong charge. I suspect the issues noted above led to its early retirement. $45 includes shipping anywhere in the US and domestic Priority Mail serviced territories.
