This is coming to you from a PB G4 A1106 a.k.a. PowerBook5,6 a.k.a. PB G4 Jan. 2005 (lower resolution screen) with a suddenly failing keyboard. Seeking an inexpensive fully functional keyboard for this machine. *Missing/scratched key caps OK!* Even missing white plastic bits between the key cap and the actual keyboard assembly would be OK. All i need is a fully functional, intact keyboard assembly (the stuff below the key caps and plastic key cap hinges). This is my main Mac which i use heavily every single day.
Will also consider an A1106 parts machine with a fully-functional keyboard if it is rock-bottom priced (would prefer just the keyboard). *Or, going a different direction* Alternatively seeking a working-flawlessly main (logic) board for the successor model: PB G4 A1156 a.k.a PowerBook5,8 a.k.a. PB G4 October 2005 a.k.a. PB G4 1.67 GHz Hi-Res. DLSD. Have one which is a paperweight: GPU cooked itself (thanks, Adobe Flash), won’t boot. As above, if you have a parts machine where you are *certain* that the logic board and all ports are flawless but it has some other issue (screen, drives, keyboard, trackpad), i will consider it for a sufficiently low price. If you have one of these machines working perfectly (cosmetics not important) and are willing to sell it at an ultra-low below-market price, i might consider that option (but it’ll have to be ultra cheap as i have very little money to work with). Seeking price with shipping (or local pick-up) on either of these to: Nick Kratz 2200 E.
