Quadra 800 with a Sonnet Presto PPC 601 100 MHz processor upgrade in
the PDS slot, plus a Reudo 110-00015-100 10base-2 and 10base-T
Ethernet NuBus card. Loaded with the full 136 MB of RAM possible for
this model.
No hard drive, no optical drive. Sleds for these drives plus the EMI
shield for the optical drive are included. (This is how i received
this machine.)
I’ve booted and run this machine several times from an external SCSI
drive with a universal install of OS 8.1—works fine running Apple
System Profiler and messing around in Finder.
Asking $50. This is for the machine as listed above, no keyboard nor
mouse nor box, etc. I wasn’t planning on including the standard
business machine-style power cord since so many of us Mac hobbyists
have so many already, but if you need one, let me know.
Price does *not* include shipping. Local pickup is encouraged where
possible. I am making my best guess on price without having done much
research, and will be happy to work with you regarding item pricing
and shipping pricing/method. My goal is to clear out my house
(essential!) and keep as much as possible out of e-waste.
If you’re not interested in the whole unit but only parts from it,
let me know and i’ll get back to you if there is no buyer for the
entire machine as it is.
