Looking for either brand of accelerator cards for a Mac SE (not SE /30). The AE TransWarp was a 40 MHz card with 4 slots for 30 pin SIMMs and a capacity (despite the stock limitations of the box and of System 6 for that matter) of up to 16 MB RAM under either System 6 or 7.
The DayStar Digital card came in 40 MHz and 50 MHz versions and had a single 72 pin SIMM slot which I think could also take a 16 MB SIMM, although not sure if System 6 could make use of that as with the AE card. Both were PDS slot cards. The AE card needed driver sw to run properly. The DayStar probably did too (never had that one myself). I want working cards not dysfunctional items, do not need the RAM (but will buy it along with the cards if they're occupied with valid SIMMs), need the driver sw where relevant. -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
