I have up for sale a black 13” MacBook with a broken screen. Here are the full specs:
• MacBook 2,1 from mid-2007 • Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz (T7400) • 1 GB RAM (667 MHz DDR2) • 160 GB HD • 8x dual-layer SuperDrive (CD-RW & DVD±RW) • 13” widescreen active-matrix TFT @ 1280x800 (BROKEN!) • Gigabit Ethernet; 802.11n Wi-Fi; Bluetooth 2.0+EDR • 2 USB 2.0 ports; 1 FireWire 400 port; optical digital audio in/out • built-in iSight camera • fresh install of Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) Only one caveat: the screen is broken. As you can see in the pictures, it has several severe blemishes where it is either all white or all black, without any image. The rest of the areas are functional, and everything is completely normal when an external monitor is connected (via mini-DVI or USB). The keyboard and trackpad show the normal wear and tear (again, see pictures). No attempt was made to clean them up, though, so a little Apple polish might spruce it up nicely. The case also shows normal wear and tear, with a few scratches and a noticeable ding on one corner. Obviously none of this affects the operation. This would be a perfect “parts” machine, since everything but the internal LCD is tested and in good working order. Or, you can plug in an external monitor and use it like a normal desktop computer. It would also be a great “headless” computer for a media server, web server, etc. You can see pictures here: https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#AMG4TcsmGSz6bY I am asking $40, but will certainly entertain all offers! Will ship anywhere in CONUS—or will gladly meet locally in Austin, TX. Payment method is buyer’s choice—PayPal, cashier’s check, etc. Cody Gray [email protected] Georgetown, TX 78628 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
