Hello LEMSwappers,
I have a MBP that I was using fine for a while. However, sometimes the screen
would go blank for me, and then start working later on. So I took out the Hard
Drive and the DVD Drive to use for other purposes, and am now selling the
MacBook for “parts".
However, as you can see in the photos:

it boots fine from a Mavericks Flash Drive and the screen has been working fine
lately. But it runs very slowly from the flash drive, so that’s not really
usable for much. But that should serve as some indication of which parts may be
functioning fine. I have also connected to it via Screen Sharing in the past
when the screen has blanked out, so that’s another option. That’s up to you
what you do with it.
Specs:
- MacBook Pro (A1226), Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz
- 6GB RAM
- No Hard Drive or DVD Drive
- Screen occasionally goes blank, but looks great
- no other known issues
- various cosmetic dings and scuffs on case
- optional bootable Flash Drive with Mavericks (16GB SanDisk)
- various photos at DropBox link, as well as MacTracker Details from Original
Model.pdf
Asking $50 + Shipping to CONUS for the MacBook Pro. No cables, power cord, or
peripherals are included. If you want the bootable Flash Drive I have, please
add $15.
Thanks!!
