It has the usual wear you'd expect of a 10-year-old metal encased laptop, plus a little extra, as depicted in the photos -- there is a number scratched into the back edge and a slight dent from above on the right side, neither of which affect performance in any way (scratches can supposedly be worked out with Scratch-X and dents hammered out). The screen has a bright spot surrounded by dark near the bottom right, but this is NOT an LCD defect; it's a side effect of the lid dent. The battery is in good condition -- still has most of its cycles left and averages 3 hours. The lid hinge mechanism works just fine, and the touchpad and keyboard work perfectly. It's running fully updated Leopard. It's a nice writing machine especially, due to the quality of the keyboard. Thanks!
