I have a 17" iMac that had the typical lines on the screen issue. I bought one of those replacement kit adapters from https://realmacmods.com/, to make it work with a regular laptop screen. I installed it and it did work, however I can't see to get the bezel to fit back flush and the particular laptop screen I used seems to turn a purple hue from time to time. Anyways I'm tired of fooling with it, so if anybody near me needs it for parts or something let me know. I'm willing to part it out if you need something specific and ship it, but I'd prefer local pickup for the whole thing.
It does work fine with no screen just using an external monitor as well if someone needed it just for a music server or a cheap project. $20 obo for the whole computer, includes hardrive and memory. But I keep Adapter and screen. $35 for the adapter and screen to be included. obo Ivan Marsh Marietta, GA 30066 -- You received this message because you are a member of the LEM Swap group.
