Hey all, MacBook Pro 15 inch had been in use as a media server.
I got it after it had been dropped on a hard floor and broke the case. It doesn’t travel well, but functioned fine for years. The good: Mainboard, graphics card, and display all are fine. The hinge seems fine but I can’t guarantee it since it is adjacent to damage. The top case should be fine too, except there may be damage in the screw holes along the back. The bad: Bottom case is broke. No battery No HD No RAM No charger. The unknown: The optical may or may not be fine. To identify it, here’s a bunch of specs from a serial number lookup site.
