Greetings, swapsters.
I have for sale some used, yet in excellent condition, a few Digidesign (Avid) MBox II units for those who still run older flavors of Mac OS on appropriate units. Here are some quick pictures of what the model unit looks like, posted at an Amazon sale: https://www.amazon.com/Digidesign-MBox-Audio-Tools-Interface/dp/B000BGIUKA This site has some basic specs posted: https://www.pixelproaudio.com/digidesign-mbox-2-u051878.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwiMe8BRD0ts3Vtv-ohWgSJAAZurk1wMgKIls5BrO_etL7GIJ8KQ5ZkcdKjIXzrj7GH1mjTxoCuszw_wcB Here is an article contemporaneous to its introduction to the market: http://www.audiomasterclass.com/mbox-2-has-arrived Each unit comes with the original Pro Tools software that can be authorized via the authorization nos. provided. Six of the units come with Pro Tools LE 7.1 (Mac/Windows) with a burned disc that provides the updater to PT 7.4 (for me this was to provide compatibility for a G5 Mac running Leopard). Two of the units were purchased a little later, and come bundled with Pro Tools LE 8.0 (to be run on Intel Mac units) - this version of Pro Tools can also be authorized for use via the enclosed authorization nos. In either case, if you are running a legacy unit with no intention of upgrading, and would like an inexpensive means to run a legitimate legacy Pro Tools environment, then this sale would fit the bill. I can make arrangements for documented surrender of the units to new owners, should you wish to use these purchases as a means to upgrade to a later version of Pro Tools. The latest version supported is Pro Tools 11.2, hosted by a Mac running Mavericks, with authorization provided by an iLok (that is how we ran these units prior to retirement- iMac 2011 w/ MBox 2, Mavericks, Pro Tools 11). The most recent drivers, with compatibility specifications, can be found here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Download/Mbox-2-Drivers Each unit comes with: original OEM Software, all OEM documentation, extra stand-out handle, USB cable, boxed in original retail packaging. All units are in excellent condition, used in a computer lab/smoke-free environment, light to medium use. Shipping would be from Upland, IN 46989 - if you live in NE Indiana region, physical deliveries can be arranged (the school is half-way between Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne). Payment is preferably by check or appropriate money order, though PayPal payments can be arranged. Cost is $50 plus actual shipping costs within the con. U.S. Thank you for reading. Please reach me offline should you have further questions. Best regards, Dana L. Collins - Upland, IN 46989/ Ft.
