Hi, I'm moving and have to downsize quite a bit, which means I won't have room for two computers that are super cool but ultimately "showpieces" and not used for anything.
First up is a Bondi iMac G3. This is a Frankenmac that I put together a long time ago. It has a motherboard from a newer G3 so it runs at 333 MHz and I believe has more VRAM. I haven't been part of the old Mac scene for a while now so my memory is hazy there. Has 192 MB of RAM and a 6 GB hard drive. Optical drive worked the last time I used it. Runs Mac OS 9.2 and 10.3.9 well enough, although obviously 9.x is snappier. Includes a Pro Keyboard and Pro Mouse (black). Second is a Mac Plus 1 MB. Also functional, minimal yellowing if any. This is the beige variant, not the later "platinum" model. Includes keyboard and mouse. Has a floppy disk that will let it boot to System 6 and has MacWrite and some variant of Solitaire on it. Both Macs are in Alexandria, VA and available for local pickup only, no shipping. I am happy to meet around the DC/NoVA/MD area where it's convenient for the both of us. $50 per computer would be awesome, but prices are OBO so please feel free to throw whatever offer my way.
