Identifiers: Late 2008 - MB470LL/A - MacBookPro5,1 - A1286 - 2255 It is inoperable. I have removed the HDD, Optical Drive and the RAM. The Apple-branded battery is dead and has been removed (I can include if requested) The motherboard likely has a problem hence the reason for me retiring this machine. The screen is fine. The case is in very good condition with scratches on the bottom. The only obvious age-related issue is the plastic section of the hinge has surface cracks.
