As the subject line says, I am looking for either a 1st or 2nd generation iPod (though a 3rd generation iPod will work, too). By "iPod," I mean the original (or "Classic") iPod with a capacity of anywhere from 5 to 40GB rather than an iPod Shuffle, Nano, or Touch. If you have an iPod, but are not certain what model you've got, you can shoot me the model number from the back and we'll go from there. I would greatly prefer something that has had the battery recently replaced and is "ready to rock," so to speak, but a low capacity and/or dead battery is okay, too; I am trying to steer clear of "project" devices, if possible. That said, if you've got an iPod with a dead screen, HD, etc., please tell me what you have and I can tell you if I am willing to take it on or not.
