The exterior case has minimal scratching. It still has the smooth shiny feel and appearance. The keyboard is clean as when new. It was installed two years ago next month. The only flaw is a small sliver-like chip off on the leading edge right side. it's cosmetic only. It's common to almost all A1181 MacBooks, usually on both sides. It's a design flaw. The factory hard drive (80GB) was a change out for a larger capacity drive at under a year of use. It was saved and is now back inside the Mac. Wifi is "n" speed. The optical drive reads/writes/rewrites both CD's and DVD's including DL DVD's. Bluetooth and iSight web cam are in perfect working order. The Apple OEM battery is very strong.
