(price drop. going on eBay within a day or two) Just got this machine from a family member. The screen got sprayed by a water sprinkler system of some sort (in a greenhouse), and the screen never worked again. Not sure of the severity of the spray or extent of the damage. The machine seems to boot (startup chime, sound of hard drive working, fans on, etc), but the screen does not turn on. I have tried connecting to an external monitor, but it would not display anything either. The battery appears to charge. This machine had the logic board replacement performed by Apple about a year ago, but had worked fine until the sprinkler incident. The machine is in good physical condition (I’d rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10). Some wear in the expected spots, but overall pretty good. the screen looks good, at least cosmetically. I believe this was the high-res screen, but don’t remember 100%. No charger included. RAM and HD have been removed (but bracket and 4 drive screws are included) and are in use in another machine, but I do have compatible options if desired.
So, this is a bare bones parts machine. How about $125 shipped for it, or best offer. I accept paypal, check/M.O., etc. Items will ship upon receipt of cleared payment. Email me at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> to express interest. I reserve the right to sell it to the first person that can follow through with completing payment, even if they are not necessarily the first to respond to my post.
