This is one of the macs affected by the graphics card issue. This was purchased new or refurbed direct from Apple. And it has finally succumbed to the Graphics card issue that plagues these models. Apple is no longer offering to cover the logic board replacement under warranty. So…while this is a fantastic machine that would probably have another 2-4 years of useful life, it is destined to be a parts machine. The machine does power on and appears to get about halfway through startup (with Apple logo on screen), and then it just never progresses beyond that. This machine is in good cosmetic condition. I’d probably rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10, due to scuffing on the top and bottom of the machine. The corners, screen and keyboard all look good.
