Built in February 2009 this laptop was a retirement gift.

Apparently it never caught on with the owner as it sat unused in a desk
drawer for 9 years.

I bought the laptop and equally new Apple power adapter at his estate sale.

The battery bay was empty. I have no idea why.

You now know as much as I do about the laptop.

The keyboard has no signs of fingers ever touching it.

The top of case is pristine new with a new grainy touch to the palm rest.

The trackpad has that feel of superfine sandpaper before fingers make it
smooth.

I removed the top of case to find a shiny new interior. (photo’s available)

The 120 GB black label hard drive is dated Feb 2009 matching it to the
laptop build date.

While testing the hard drive with DriveDx I discovered the laptop was
turned on for only 8 hours.

This is a still new laptop.

Specs: 2.0 GHz, Penryn CPU model P7350, NVIDIA GeForce 9000M graphics card
with 256 MB card memory.

Changes made by me:

RAM upgraded 2 GB to max 4 GB brand new.

Hard drive 120 GB to a 320 GB with OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan) installed.

The 120 GB hard drive is included.

The exterior case is shiny smooth. It has that reflective depth of new
polished plastic.

The only marks on it are from other desk drawer items.
