I designed a set of tools for the proprietary 3-prong screws on the iMac G4
neck since I couldn't find any online, and I thought I'd list them here in
case anyone else has been looking for them.

These are 3D printed in PLA (with 100% infill for maximum structural
integrity) and have metal prongs. These are hand tools, designed to be
gripped between the fingers (kind of shaped like car keys). I've put them
through a lot of testing over the past few days to make sure they won't
deform or break under normal use, and they seem very rigid and sturdy.
These would be printed/assembled on demand, I usually use silver PLA but if
you'd rather have a different color I can see what I have on hand.

Just to clarify, these tools are only used to disassemble the neck, not
remove it (the neck uses normal Torx screws to attach to the base and
display assembly so if all you're doing is swapping the neck out with a new
one you won't need these tools). These would be used for
repairing/rebuilding a damaged neck, repairing/replacing the wiring, or
removing the housing to polish it. Also just as a warning you should never
work on the neck without relieving all tension (the easiest way is to
remove the display assembly entirely). The neck has powerful springs inside
and the chrome housing itself plays a structural role, so opening the neck
without removing the weight could damage or destroy the mechanism or
potentially even cause injury.

I really have no idea what to ask for these tools, as they're fairly simple
but they do take a while to print and clean up/assemble. How about $20
shipped in the continental USA or best offer (slightly more for
international shipping)? That price would be for a set of two tools, since
you need one on each side of the neck. PayPal only, unless you are able to
meet locally in which case I'd take cash. If you have any questions or want
pictures of the prototypes please let me know.
