This is the top of the line model. It has built-in ethernet which is practically unheard of to find. And quite valuable too.
The active matrix screen is bright and without any issues whatsoever. The laptop is said to be the best Powerbook model ever built. OS 7.6.1 is a fresh install from the included factory disc. 64MB RAM 2GB HD Both the CD-ROM and Floppy Drive work great. The face plate is firmly attached to the CD-ROM. That's kinda rare. The power adapter is model M4896 which is the better of two adapter models Apple provided for the 1400 series. There's a battery which teases fully charged. But it's just a tease. The laptop shuts off when AC is pulled. Such a nasty and unfortunate tease. The laptop is clean. Very clean. Keyboard too.
