Matthew Wright Greenfield, MA 01301 USA FS: My mother-in-law upgraded to a new iPad and I have her first generation 16GB model in excellent shape with a functional-if-ugly fake-leather case. I wiped it, tested it for a day, and it's all good. I wiped it again so it will set up like a new machine. It's just the WiFi model, no cellular connection. Looks like from ebay these aren't worth a whole lot anymore, so I'll be happy to keep it out of a landfill for $20/plus actual shipping to wherever it's going.
