I've got an Apple PowerBook G4 17" for parts or repair. I got this in a
lot of MacBook Pro laptops that I purchased from a government auction, so
do not know the history of it.

I do know that it powers on, and the battery seems to hold at least a
little bit of a charge (I had it on for ~10 minutes, and was able to unplug
it and it stayed on). I did notice if the adapter is twisted while it is
plugged in, the light cycles between the different colors (red, orange,
green) and occasionally cycles off, but the laptop did stay turned on. The
adapter I used does not exhibit that behavior when plugged in to my
PowerBook, so likely an issue with the charger port on this one.

I do know the hard drive is missing. The cable and brackets are likely
missing as well (I haven't opened it up, but count on replacing them since
the place I got it from usually keeps those too for some reason). I did
notice a few missing screws and some screws that were sticking out on the
sides.

I tried to boot up to a CD of 10.4, and it recognized it but sat at the
Apple logo with the spinning loading circle for ~10 minutes before I gave
up on it. When I tried to eject the CD, it had trouble ejecting (seemed
like the palm rest was getting in the way, I had to lift it up a little
above the optical drive to get the disc to come out enough to grab it. I
would count on the optical drive needing to be replaced.

The hinges seem to be a little messed up (the screen seems to go back
really easy, and the screen seems to pop up with a lot of force sometimes
when unlatched). There are also some dents/dings in various places on it,
as well as some scratches and scuff marks and sticker residue.

I took some pictures and uploaded them here: https://imgur.com/a/rqQ7cbl

Includes the PowerBook G4 17" laptop only, no AC adapter or other items are
included. Feel free to ask any additional questions and I will do my best
to answer. Since this is a parts/repair unit, it is sold strictly as-is
and no returns are accepted.

Looking to get $50 + actual shipping. PayPal preferred, but can also
accept a check (with 1 week clear time) or a USPS money order.

Will ship in a box that is 19" x 17" x 5" and weighs approximately 9 pounds
(if you want to get a shipping quote, or feel free to send me your ZIP code
and I can figure one up). Can ship via USPS, UPS, or Fedex (whatever your
preference is).
