Swappers,
I have an iPhone 4 I would like to swap. It has been out
of service for two years or so, maybe more, I forget. Before it was taken
out of service I had a battery installed, and after I started using my new
phone I went through the "unlock' protocols on this iPhone 4. It is in its
original box, with earbuds, (never used) power adapter and wallwart.
I'd like to swap it for a router. I need something that
will receive via wire with a cable modem and broadcast WiFi throughout a
small, (not tiny) house. In times past I was able to administer routers
(192.168.1.1) and had some savy about them. Now I am more concentrated on
determining the correct end of the spoon to eat my oatmeal. I had used the
Linksys 54g routers and had, till last year, a box full of them. After a
pretty steep home re-model, I thought I would not need them any more and
gave a box full of router, hubs, an switches to Goodwill. I don't know
where we are in terms of routers, bandwidth and so forth today.
Ideally I'd like to get something that is one or two
iterations beyond the 54g and get it from someone who might have the
patience to help me set it up.
The phone would be coming from San Angelo, Texas
76901. Thanks for your patience.

All the best,
R.A. Cantrell
