Hey Swappers: I’m interested in purchasing the original software for a 2000-2001 iBook 466 Special Edition aka Firewire. (I’m fairly certain that the software for the Standard 366 Mhz and the Special Edition 466 Mhz were the same.)
The system software version, at least for the original release, was Mac OS 9.0.4. The iBook Software Install CD is part number 691-2677-A (SSW 9.0.4. Disc v. 2.0). The iBook Software Restore CD is part number 691-2678-A (SSW 9.0.4. Disc v. 2.0). I prefer to purchase the complete software envelope that came with the unit from Apple. That would include the Software Install and Restore CDs, as well as a variety of other installed software. If no one has the full package, I would take the Install and/or Restore CDs. I know that these are available for download online but I’d like the originals. Let me know what you have and how much you want.
