My birthday is coming upon a couple weeks. Right now I have a MBP 2011
with High Sierra on it. I'd like to upgrade to a newer MBP. Right now I
have 16GB of RAM. 1TB SSHD. I'm currently working with an expected
budget of $500+. Right now I have the HD backed up with Carbon Copy
Cloner on an external USB drive, so I'd like the MBP capable of booting
up on High Sierra 10.13.6. I'd like the new MBP to have similar
specifications but I definitely want a newer model. I'd like at least
8GB of RAM; perhaps upgradable. I need at least 1TB SSD; definitely
upgradeble. Clean screen as my current MBP has a small crack. Will need
an optical drive as I have heard that some models don't have them
anymore. Since I have never used a Touch Pad, I don't care one way or
the other about this feature.
