Hey all! I’m after a Power Macintosh 5500 (Trinitron CRT) if possible but I’d also consider a shadow mask Power Macintosh/Performa 5400/5300/5200 of the same form factor. I pounced on one on everyone’s favorite auction site but the seller failed to pack it well and it arrived absolutely destroyed. It also turned out to be a 5400 with a 5500 bezel and board so still no Trinitron. The let down has made me want one all the more. Happy to pay actual shipping costs for a properly packed machine or to have a UPS store pack it well. Also willing to drive around the midwest area to collect it. I do board level repair so the computer need not function but decent plastics are preferred as it’s going to be part of a working collection.
