This MacBook is in overall EXCELLENT condition. But, it’s having a weird battery problem, that I cannot figure out; The battery is brand new, Apple OEM, only 4-5 cycle counts. Coconut Battery reads it as 100% capacity, but the menu bar battery status reads “Condition: Replace Now” - Despite this, it carries a full charge and operates as normal except that it has shut down at the end of the battery life without warning of low battery. I have tried twice to calibrate the battery (hence a couple of the cycle counts) but that seems to have made no difference.
I think $275 shipped (continental US) is a more than fair price on this. I’d rather go through LEMSwap if possible, but if it’s not gone soon I will post it to other sale sites. This is in REALLY GOOD CONDITION - everything works as it should, the screen is as perfect as you can get, the plastics are not broken or chipped, only a VERY small hairline crack at the hinge that is barely noticeable (a problem that is normally much worse on this model), and the rubber base is white with very little signs of use, with no wrinkling, bubbling or peeling. Recently upgraded to 16GB RAM, installed a 500GB SSD drive and a NEW APPLE OEM BATTERY (only 4-5 cycles, 5770mAh, 100% designed capacity by Coconut Battery, but weirdly, the battery status in the menu bar reads “Condition: Replace Now") If you have any specific questions, I will do my best to answer them. I could take some photos, but, honestly this looks just like all the others except better condition than 98-99% of this model MacBook out there. Comes with the proper Apple OEM L-tip charger in excellent condition, with both the duck-head AC plug and the extension AC cable. thanks for your interest.
