This is shipping to (CA, SF Bay Area/San Jose/95132).
I am looking for a 2010-ish MBP with Linux installed, meaning that any MBP slightly older or newer than 2010 might work, too. If you want to offer something older, tell me what you have (see below) and we’ll go from there.
As for the Linux OS, I am not particular as to what flavour it is so long as it is pre-installed, the latest release, and includes a web browser.
Battery-wise, I would prefer a unit with a minimum battery life of 1 hour.
Please shoot me the full specs (model/family, CPU speed, memory installed, etc.) of what you are offering as well as whether the AC adapter is included and we'll go from there. I also need to know if your particular unit is equipped with an SSD or a mechanical drive. If both the specs and price are agreeable, I will probably request a few pictures.
I understand that older laptops are likely to have a few dings and cosmetic blemishes. That's fine so long as the screen is bright, the hinges are in good shape, and the machine will latch/sleep when closed; all the ports should be fully functional as well. In essence, I am looking for an angst-free, non-project machine that will boot up when I hit the on button.
Please let me know your asking price and the cost of shipping (cheap and slow shipping is fine). The laptop will need to be well-packed in a cardboard box.
I can pay via PayPal. However, please be advised that I will only do a credit card-funded payment for this (i.e. I cannot do a balance transfer).
