I have for sale a late 2011 MacBook Pro 15”, 2.2 GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 250GB HDD, recently-installed (this spring) no-name battery from Amazon. This is a non-Retina MBP that had the faulty graphics card issue; the logic board was replaced in 2016, but the issue arose again in 2019 and I just set it aside. Before the (apparent) graphics failure, the screen was clear, with no obvious dead pixels. The 16 GB RAM is from OWC.
MacOS High Sierra is installed, but I have not been able to boot into it successfully. I have tried the dosdude patch to no avail (I did get it to run once, but when I rebooted, it failed, and now boots to a gray screen). I have reached the limits of my abilities, so have decided to pass it on to another enthusiast. Externally, the machine looks great, with little wear showing, and one foot trying to fall off. The keyboard shows little to no wear, and the screen was clear when it was last booted. It will ship in its original box, and includes the charger. Photos available on request.
