Hi All, I use digikam and like a lot Lens Auto Correction plugin which use lensfun for distortion correction.
Unfortunately my lens are still not in database, ( I know about Torsten's upload service and I also tried to create my own calibration, but I didn't like the results.) But even without having the correct profile for my lens, I still see big improvement after running this plugin. basically if I apply almost any lens profile, pictures become much sharper. for example: I have a picture with focal length 18 and if I apply Canon 70-300 the picture becomes much more sharper without much change in the shape. Is it a feature coming from lensfun?
