OK. Like I wrote in the private email I'm working on improvements of
the correction parameters.

Meanwhile I got hugin producing usable parameters, but only when
hugin uses a, b and c correction parameters.

I currently have the interesting situation that for the focal length
5.1 mm I have 2 sets of parameters that (at first sight) seem to
deliver equally good end results:

I.) a="0.0053" b="-0.0382" c="0"
II:)a="0.0159" b="-0.077" c="0.04"

These 2 sets seem to produce a slightly different angle of view. I
haven't checked which of these 2 preserves object sizes better. Any
suggestions?

Another question: On the webside of ptlens I read that these lens
correction parameters only work for focus distances of 20ft and more.
Does that mean this parameters won't work with short focus distances
like macro fotography? And if this is the case is it possible to have
lensfun DB entries for focal length and for different focus distances?

The LX3 has 3 different aspect ratios, should there be a set of
correction parameters for each aspect ratio?

Can you tell me how I can incorporate cromatic abberation correction
parameters in the lensfun DB?

The Leica D-Lux 4 seems to be build identically as the Panasonic LX3.
How can these 2 cameras share the same lens correction parameters?

I think my update for the LX3 als fixes the 1 open feature request of
lensfun:
