Hello list,
I have a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro for my Sony Alpha camera. It has
correction data in the lensfun database. However, it is not available for
correction data in e.g. Darktable. If I understand correctly this is
because lensfun does not return the lens because the cropfactor of the lens
in the database (1.611, Canon?) is larger than the cropfactor of my Sony
(1.53).
Obviously I can make the effort to create calibration data with my own
camera, but I was wondering if there is a shortcut, e.g. changing the crop
factor of the existing calibration data.
