Unfortunately I can't get the old script to run (possibly a python version problem), but have used dcraw to process a couple of my images to tiffs with the same options as are used in calibrate.py and these look very similar to those processed by darktable with an sRGB input profile, but they are massively darker than those using the Linear Rec 2020 RGB profile.
