Fernando mentioned on a discussion on #ipython-dev a few days ago that the sage (http://sagemath.org/) takes the place of Mathematica (MM) in the IPython world.
Sage is a powerful MM-like math engine. It has a web-based notebook, and it can (I think) render math formulas using TeX. Sage is written in Python, so I'm wondering whether Leo might be a possible sage notebook. Any thoughts, Amigos?
