For example, pythoncile.py: scan returns a cix which is xml text. It looks like the text isn't getting written to the actual database yet (in ~/home/.codeintel\db\catalogs\python), but that's a nit at present. In fact, looking at the value of one of the paths lead me to ~/ home/.codeintel\db\catalogs\python. Files in this directory were created today, so I know a *huge* amount of cool code has been working. LeoUser, aka B.H. is a well known bug fixer. (He wants to remain anonymous. You can probably figure out who he is, but if you do figure it out, please keep it to yourself :-) Brian has exhorted me several times to improve my debugging tools. My present opinion is that fixing bugs in other people's code is *much* easier than one might expect. Just replace mind-numbing code study with exciting exploration of code using debugging tools. I'm not kidding. This is really fun. In short, the twin guidelines (no code changes, focus on non-gui code) have turned what might be a big, dangerous task into a fun romp. It might change my life :-) Edward --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
