Hi Bob, I like the idea of opening a node's children but I think it would be better to first implement it using the FileActions plugin. FileActions allows you to invoke a script based on double clicking a node. It's a very versital plugin that no behaves with the Vim plugin such that the Vim plugin is only called if the FileActions plugin does not have a script that matches to the node's headline text. FileActions has the disadvantage that you need a "FileActions" node with a "*" child node in your Leo file but it will keep from overloading the Vim plugin with capability. I'll let you know if I start to work on a FileActions plugin solution. Let me know if you do the same so we don't do double work.
