I am running out of time today to do much more work on the sax-graph
tree. The latest code is on the sax-graph branch on launchpad, and all
unit tests pass. Today's work is encouraging, but many more tests are
needed. Please do not use the present sax-graph code for anything
important.

I am about to drive to Chicago to pick up Rebecca at O'Hare. She has
been traveling in the Near East for almost a month.

After the transition to using the sax-graph world "for real" I shall
be creating unit tests for all the code that has given me trouble
recently: the low-level position methods and the higher-level code
that inserts, deletes, clones, promotes and demotes nodes. Imo,
creating these unit tests is the *only* way of demonstrating that the
code works.
