Ultimate solutions are good. Working with files which exist both in Leo and the file system seems to be handled by a long list of @<type> directives, each offering it's own custom blend of features. I suspect the ones which offer non-chunking do not meet other requirements which led to @auto. Hopefully @shadow will lead to a major collapse in complexity and boost in configurability.
